The mechanics of Legend Guardians are simple and easily grasped. Your adventure is composed of levels with a set number of waves for you to clear and you encounter a boss monster now and then. Before you start, you need to set up your party by assigning a maximum of three heroes and the first one from the left is the only hero you can control. The rest will move on their own so you won’t have trouble managing them yourself. You consume energy each time you enter a level and they recharge by 5 every 4 hours which you can check the amount you have left at the top right corner of the screen. It is also important to compare your combat power against the enemies of your chosen stage. This will greatly determine how you can handle the creatures inside and if you can survive the battle.
Legend Guardians uses a user-friendly controller set-up with a virtual joystick on the left side of the screen and their action buttons on the right. You can activate their skills when you tap on the three small icons and make normal attacks with the big weapon icon. If you press the Auto-Attack symbol on the upper left, you can turn on the idle mode and let the AI take over. It will automatically move and cast your skills and attacks until you turn it off. You can still enjoy and keep on progressing in the game while being busy with this awesome feature.
There are different kinds of characters to choose from in Legend Guardians. They are divided into five groups: Humans, Beasts, Demons, Elves, and the Undead. Each race has its strengths and weakness and when you pit them against one another they can deal an additional 20% damage to their countered races. The demons inflict more harm to the elves while they have an advantage against the undead and the humans. It circles back the demons after that and having a diverse pool of characters is best so you got a lot to choose from. They also have classes like warriors and hunters just to name a few. When you tap on them at the Guardian tab, you can see their attacks, defense, and health as well as the resources needed to upgrade them.
