Choose a class of preference from one of the four unique options available.
Explore the massive game world that’s crawling with monsters for you to slay and loot for you to acquire.
ROSE Online is a pretty amazing MMORPG for lots of different reasons. First of all it’s because the game isn’t afraid to stray a bit from the tried and true formula in order to bring a slight twist to the overall style of play and alongside this it implements a ton of unique features as well so it’s a game that should definitely be able to entertain even the toughest of crowds.
ROSE Online starts a tad bit differently than most other MMORPGs. While in the standard run-of-the-mill MMO you start off by creating a class and then heading into the game’s tutorial section, things are slightly different here. Before all else you create a character but what’s peculiar is that you don’t pick a class at the time. After you have a character you’ll be taken into the game world where the first ten levels of the game are essentially a tutorial phase during which you’ll be guided through the basics.
Upon finally reaching level 10 you’ll be able to choose the class of your preference. This is actually a much better method than the standard as it allows players to play the game a bit beforehand which allows them to make a much more informed choice which of course leads to a much more engaging experience later on as players will have the class of their preference.
Going into the gameplay, before all else it’d be best to mention that the progression in ROSE Online is much quicker than in most MMORPGs. You gain a ton of experience from tasks such as killing monsters and completing quests and this large amount of experience translates into really quick leveling. The combat is of the standard spell spam type which might not seem the appealing on paper but rest assured, thanks to the variety of spells and abilities that each class has at its disposal, combat feels like a dynamic and engaging activity rather than a simple ‘mash buttons as quickly as you can to win’ sort of thing.
There are lots of quests to complete and the game world is massive so you’ll have a lot to explore as well. One really nice feature about this game is that once you reach level 100, you’ll be able to choose from one of two sub-classes for the character class you chose to play with at level 10. These sub-classes add a whole new layer of depth to the game as they bring in new skills, play patterns and abilities and serve as a great way to motivate players to play more and level up as fast as they can.
In the graphics department, the term vibrant doesn’t even begin to describe ROSE Online’s visuals. Anime themed MMOs have a reputation of being colorful and bright but this game just takes things to a whole new level. The artwork is phenomenal, the character designs are solid and the spell/ability animations are an absolute delight to look at during combat.
Like most MMORPGs, ROSE Online has a cash shop in which you can utilize real world money to purchase various kinds of in-game goods ranging from character equipment to some cool looking apparel.
All said and done, ROSE Online is a game that you should definitely try out as it has tons of content and features to keep anyone entertained. ROSE Online Summary
