Join the war effort and start clicking your way to victory in this amazingly addictive clicking game, War Clicks! Recruit various units to your army, upgrade them and deploy them into the battlefield. Use your clicking prowess to defeat waves after waves of enemies or even other players and climb up the ranks.
To start contributing to the war effort, you’ll first need to recruit yourself an army, and you can do so at the boot camp. War Clicks offers up to 10 different units ranging from the common foot soldier to the behemoth aircraft carrier. Each of these units can be further upgraded to increase its production, speed or the total Power Points per unit recruited.
By recruiting troops for your army, you’ll earn a certain amount of Power Points (PPs). These points can then be used like currency to level up your units so they will in turn produce more Power Points per new recruit. The cost of the level-up will increase exponentially as you level up your units, and hence, some strategic techniques might be helpful when you’re deciding which unit you should invest your Power Points in.
At the military headquarters, you could even use your Power Points to hire trainers who will automate the recruitment process, making it easier for you to focus your attention to the second part of the game – the War Zone.
War Zone is where you’ll get to show your clicking prowess as you defeat waves after waves of enemies on the battlefield. However, clicking aimlessly wouldn’t help you much, and frankly, will tire you out quickly. You’ll need to make each of your click count and to do so, you’ll need to upgrade your arsenal of weapons to increase your damage per click (DPC).
Upgrades will cost you Battle Stars and you can rather easily earn these medals simply by leveling up, ranking up or obtaining an achievement. If you have unlocked all 10 units at the boot camp, you’ll also be able to convert your Power Points for Battle Stars or score points, which will indirectly grant you extra Battle Stars since these points are needed to level you up at the War Zone.
Going to war in the War Zone will cost you fuel though. You can regain some by participating in a mini-game called Time Challenge where you’ll need to click as quickly as you can to move the truck to the finish line within the 30 seconds given. However, from time to time, you can also get free fuel while you’re attacking the enemy troops.
Being a war game, you’ll need to defend your base from being shelled to ruin by other players as well. This defensive aspect of the game, Daily Defense, is similar to War Zone in terms of gameplay but the catch here is that you are only given 30 seconds to defeat all enemy units. That said, the addition of a time limit does make the gameplay a whole lot more interesting and challenging.
Once you’ve unlocked all units at boot camp, you’ll start to attract interested army contractors who will be more than willing to take your recruits off your hands for a substantial and permanent production boost. The only downside is that whatever progress you’ve made will be completely reset and you’ll have to start all over again. This can be a pretty worthwhile move considering the boost you’ll get. After all, with the boost, you can easily get back to where you’ve left off.
War Clicks also has an in-game shop where you can buy a wide range of special abilities, such as Double DPC, Auto Click, Vacation Mode, Triple DPC, and a variety of unlocks, using gold. Gold can be purchased at the shop too but if you’d rather opt for the free option, you can earn some free gold by completing offers instead. War Clicks even offers daily, weekly and monthly rewards to its players for simply logging in and playing the game!
So, in short, if you’re looking for an enjoyable clicking game that doesn’t take up a lot of time and yet offers nice progression, well, War Clicks might just be the game for you. Give it a try and start amassing your massive army today! War Clicks Summary
